Joyful Distractions Drum Circle

Pull up a chair or hay bale and join Michelle, from Joyful Distractions, at our outdoor drum circle. Participants can choose a hand-made drum, called a djembe, to play as Michelle teaches elemental music and calmness.

The name of the drum used in our drum circles, djembe, literally translates to "everyone gather together in peace". The name of this wonderful instrument couldn't be more fitting. It is proven that drumming can help induce relaxation and release feel-good endorphins, as well as boost your immune system.

To learn more about the benefits of drumming or to participate in our next drum circle, follow Joyful Distractions on Facebook.
